The National People’s Party (NPP) has reconstituted its Legislature Party in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly by appointing A. Nyamnyei Konyak as its new leader with immediate effect.
In an order issued by NPP National President Conrad K. Sangma, the party said the decision was taken under the powers vested in the National President by the party’s Constitution and in the interest of strengthening the party’s legislative wing in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly.
As part of the reconstitution, A. Nyamnyei Konyak, MLA, has been appointed as the Leader of the NPP Legislature Party.
Consequently, Nuklutoshi, who had been serving as the Legislature Party leader, has been relieved of the responsibility with immediate effect.

The order further directed all concerned authorities, party office-bearers and members of the National People’s Party to take note of the decision and extend full cooperation to A. Nyamnyei Konyak in the discharge of his responsibilities.
The order came into force with immediate effect.
