The Nagaland Cricket Association has announced that three of its Senior Men’s players, Jonathan Rongsen, Imliwati Lemtur and Vino G Zhimomi have been selected to represent the North East Zone squad in the upcoming Duleep Trophy 2026–27. Additionally, Hem Bahadur Chetri has been named as a standby player for the North East Zone squad.
The Duleep Trophy is scheduled to be held from August 23 to September 10 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
The Association also announced that Mowalong Kichu, Physiotherapist of the Nagaland Senior Men’s Team, has been appointed as the Team Physiotherapist for the North East Zone squad.
As part of the team’s preparations for the prestigious domestic tournament, the Nagaland Cricket Association would host the North East Zone pre-tournament preparatory camp from August 8 to 19.
