The Office of the Joint Controller of Communication Accounts (Jt. CCA), Department of Telecommunications, NE-II Circle, organised a Pension Adalat at the BSNL Conference Hall, Dimapur, Nagaland, on Friday for pensioners of BSNL and the Department of Telecommunications. The programme aimed to address pension-related grievances and create awareness about various digital pension services.
Pensioners from Dimapur and nearby areas attended the Adalat and interacted with officials regarding their pension-related issues. The grievances raised during the programme were addressed on the spot.
During the session, officials highlighted the Government’s efforts to promote the use of Facial Authentication Technology for the submission of Digital Life Certificates.

Pensioners were informed about the convenience of generating their Digital Life Certificate through the Jeevan Pramaan app using facial authentication, enabling them to complete the process from the comfort of their homes without visiting any office.
The programme received an encouraging response from the participants.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Controller of Communication Accounts, K Sajal, said that such initiatives reflect the Government’s continued commitment to ensuring the welfare of pensioners by making pension services more accessible, transparent and citizen-friendly through digital empowerment.
