Mass social work conducted in Kiphire, Tuensang

A mass social work was successfully conducted across Kiphire Town today as part of the preparations for the upcoming Independence Day celebration on August 15, 2026.

The cleanliness drive was held following the circular issued by the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire. Government departments, ward authorities, schools, colleges, business establishments, civil society organizations, and members of the public actively participated in the drive.

The Assam Rifles also joined the cleanliness campaign under the theme “Clean Kiphire, Green Kiphire”, working alongside the district administration and local citizens to clean roads, public places, office premises, and other important locations across the town.

The drive was carried out with great enthusiasm and teamwork, helping improve the cleanliness and overall appearance of Kiphire ahead of the Independence Day celebrations.

Tuensang:

District Administration Tuensang led by DC organised mass Social work at Tuensang Town on August 1, by involving Government Departments, Wards, business Establishments and students within Tuensang Town. Government departments were assigned at different locations participate in clearing the drainage, roadside and garbage with the town.
