Kiphire District Cricket Association (KDCA), under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association, organised a Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament following the induction of its new office bearers.

The programme was chaired by Apila C Sangtam. Longdiba L Sangtam, Assistant Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Kiphire attended the programme and encouraged the players and organisers.

Andrew, President of KDCA, welcomed the gathering and encouraged the participating players to give their best while maintaining discipline and sportsmanship. He also expressed his gratitude to the 14th NAP(IR) for permitting the association to use the ground for the tournament.

The programme included an invocation by Dr Bhim Sapkota of NBCK, followed by a special number presented by Catherine Seyamle. The oath-taking ceremony for the newly inducted office bearers was administered by Asemong Michael, General Secretary of KDCA.

The tournament is aimed at encouraging cricket among the youth of Kiphire and providing local players with a platform to improve their skills and gain competitive experience. The KDCA expressed its commitment to further promoting cricket and nurturing young talents in the district.
