The Sub Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) meeting for the month of August was held at the SDPDB conference Hall, Pungro on August 10.

In his address, Chairman of SDPDB Pungro and Advisor Fire and Emergency Services, Home Guards & Civil Defence, Relief and Rehabilitation, S. Kiusumew Yimchunger welcomed the new members and requested the members to be diligent and efficient and help in the growth of the Sub-division. He also requested them to bring to bring forth any proposals with proper research which will help in the benefit of the citizens.

Vice chairman of SDPDB and ADC Pungro, Hotolu Sema, NCS, reviewed the last meeting minutes and put forward agendas for the day. After detailed discussion and deliberation the house unanimously passed three proposals: proposal for construction of Assembly shade at GHSS Pungro; proposal for connection of tap water facilities at Khongsa Town; and proposal for resumption of NST Service from Kiphire to Pungro ADC Hq.

In his concluding remarks the ADC notified the HODs to prepare detailed presentations of their respective departments at the next SDPDB meeting.
