Directorate of Health & Family Welfare bid Farewell to Principal Director, Dr Mereninla Senlem and Director (Health), Dr Menguzenuo Margaret Yhome on September 2 at DHFW Lobby, Kohima.
Kevileno Angami, Commissioner & Secretary, H&FW, in her speech stated that the service of outgoing officers has been tremendous and thanked them for the contribution that has made positive impact in society, department and the institution. The good team leadership and good team spirit of the officers were acknowledged and their contribution during their service with unwavering dedication and sacrifices has been attributed.
Dr Mereninla Senlem, Principal Director in her farewell speech expressed her gratitude to Almighty God for helping her achieve this milestone in her life with good health. She reminisced her service years of all hardship, success and guidance from seniors & colleagues which had shaped her experience in the career throughout and added that having a good relationship and harmony with District Task Force or any Administration is very helpful in execution of work and can go forward with any goals.
Dr Senlem also acknowledged that NHM has many talented and efficient employees which the department can make use of the existing manpower by having structural changes in the future. Later, she complemented that all section in the department has scope to grow further and encourage to work cooperatively and communicate openly for the success of all endeavours.

Meanwhile, Dr Menguzenuo Margaret Yhome, Director (Health) in her speech thanked all her professional colleagues and seniors for the guidance and unwavering support in her journey of service in the department. She expressed continued success in the department and wishes all good life.
Dr Keveduyi Theyo, Mission Director (NHM) during his citation and speech stated that the occasion is not a farewell but a time to express gratitude for the outstanding leadership, their contribution and integrity will be remembered. He highlighted the service journey of Principal Director and Director (Health) and all the achievements throughout their career.
Later, he also pronounced his acceptance speech and the incoming Principal Director and assured that he accepts the position with profound humility and with sincerity. He added that the legacy of this institution is built by many outgoing officers and promised to work up-holding the core principle of growth and success.
The programme was chaired by Dr Puse Liegise, Director (ME & RS), invocation by Dr Bendangtula, Deputy Director (AYUSH). The programme concluded with a benediction cited by Dr Asunu Thong, Joint Director.
