The Naga People’s Front (NPF) organized a Prayer Fellowship for theological students from the Tangsa, Nocte, Wancho and Tutsa tribes of Arunachal Pradesh who are studying in Nagaland.

The program was held at Hotel Season Chümoukedima to support and encourage students from neighbouring Naga communities.

The fellowship started with Scripture Reading and Invocation by Atoi, Associate Pastor (Women), KBCC. Bursaries were distributed to the students under the NPF Bursary Project.

Pastor Apong of YBC, Chümoukedima offered special prayer for the students for their studies and future ministry.

Anon Arangham of UCTM, Chümoukedima spoke on behalf of the students and thanked NPF for the support.

Vice President, NPF (COB) Kekongchim Yimkhiung said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, President and Secretary General Achumbemo Kikon, NPF reaches out to all Nagas beyond artificial boundaries.

He said NPF is not only a political party but it represents Naga identity rooted in shared culture and history. He encouraged the students to promote Nagaism and unity among Nagas of Arunachal Pradesh. He said many Arunachal Nagas are losing touch with Nagaism and urged students to preserve and strengthen the shared identity.

NPF through this initiative reaffirmed its commitment to support theological students and to strengthen fellowship among Naga communities across state boundaries.

Earlier, the program was chaired by Vice President, NPF (COB), H Angnyei Konyak and concluded with his remarks.
