Lotha Eloe Hoho condemns reported misconduct at Nagaland House, stands in solidarity

The Lotha Eloe Hoho has expressed its solidarity with Prof Dolly Kikon, Prof Sanjay Barbora, the Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA), and the scholars and students following the reported incident at Nagaland House, RK Puram, New Delhi, following an academic programme organized by the Naga Scholars’ Association (NSA) on September 15, 2026.

The Hoho condemned the reported discourteous conduct towards the invited scholars and participants and expresses concern over the manner in which the matter was handled.

As Nagaland House represents the government of Nagaland in the national capital, the Hoho stressed the importance of professionalism, courtesy and respect in dealing with scholars, visitors and members of the public.

The Hoho took note of the reported apology and assurance to examine the matter and called for a fair and transparent inquiry, with appropriate action based on the findings.

The Lotha Eloe Hoho expressed solidarity with all those affected and reiterates its commitment to upholding dignity, respect and responsible institutional conduct.
