As part of Swachhata Hi Seva Campaign, the Chumoukedima Town Council in collaboration with Range Forest Officer conducted an awareness programme in the form of an Exposure visit cum Plantation drive for Eco- Club students of ten schools and colleges of Chumoukedima town at Chumoukedima Town MRF Plant on September 25.

During the visit, the students were given awareness with demonstration on Solid Waste Management Rules, 2026. A certificate of appreciation for participation was handed over to all respective schools, colleges and departments by Moala Ao, Deputy Chairman and Convenor of Sanitation Committee for CTC.

The event concluded with a note of thanks from T Lemlila Sangtam, ADC and Executive Officer, Chumoukedima Town Council.
