The 7th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA) was held on September 26 at the Conference Room, Nagaland Cricket Association.

The meeting was chaired by Watinuksung Jamir, President, Nagaland Cricket Association, who welcomed the delegates and expressed his appreciation for their presence and continued contribution towards the development of cricket in Nagaland.

The proceedings commenced with an Invocation pronounced by Imlikumzuk, President, Mokokchung District Cricket Association.

During the meeting, the Secretary’s Report and the Treasurer’s Report for the Financial

Year 2025–26 were presented before the House and duly adopted.

Motions received from the respective District Cricket Associations were also tabled before the House for consideration and deliberation.

The House discussed various matters concerning the development and promotion of cricket across the districts, with particular emphasis on strengthening district-level cricket activities, creating greater opportunities for players and stakeholders, and ensuring the sustained growth of the sport throughout the State.

A special felicitation was accorded to Watinuksung Jamir, President, Nagaland Cricket Association, in recognition of his distinguished appointment as Team Manager of the Indian Cricket Team for the India Tour of Sri Lanka Test Series 2026. Members of the Association expressed their pride and appreciation on the occasion and congratulated him on the prestigious responsibility.

The meeting reaffirmed the Association’s commitment to working closely with the District Cricket

Associations and other stakeholders towards strengthening the cricketing structure in Nagaland and creating greater opportunities for the development of the sport at all levels.
