The Career Guidance and Placement Cell, in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Model Christian College, organized a One-Day Workshop on Career Guidance on October 1 for the 5th semester students. The resource person was Kedozolie Nagi, Inspector of Industries, District Industries Center, Kohima. The workshop was conducted with the objective of providing final-year students with awareness and guidance regarding competitive examinations and career opportunities.
The first session, titled “Exploring Competitive Examinations,” introduced students to various competitive examinations and the career opportunities associated with them.
The second session, titled “How to Prepare for Competitive Examinations”focused on effective preparation strategies, proper planning, and the importance of consistency and dedication while preparing for competitive examinations.

The workshop provided students with valuable information and practical guidance on competitive examinations and career planning. It helped students become more aware of the opportunities available to them and encouraged them to take a more focused approach towards their future careers.
