The Sub-Divisional Level Coordination Committee (SDLCC), Sechü-Zubza officially launched the Jan Manthan – Reform Utsav Campaign at the Jotsoma Village Community Hall on October 2. The state-wide initiative, converging with the People’s Plan Campaign (PPC) – “Sabki Yojana Sabka Vikas”, aims to transition citizens from passive service receivers into active participants in policy-making by providing a direct, technology-driven channel for submitting governance reform suggestions.
Delivering the keynote address, James Renbi Kikon, SDO (C) Sechü-Zubza, Chairperson of SDLCC, and Nodal Officer, underscored the vital role of grassroots participation. He highlighted that the campaign’s core focus is creating direct awareness of various department schemes at the village level. Kikon outlined key ongoing government interventions across sectors including roads, power, agriculture, education, and food and civil supplies, urging the community to acknowledge and support these welfare initiatives.
