Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Phek, Rhosietho Nguori has issued guidelines for citizens regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in the district, particularly for electors who have been issued notices for being unmapped or having logical discrepancies.

According to the notification, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will visit the residences of such electors to collect the required documents and upload them on ECINet for consideration and decision by the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) or Assistant Electoral Registration Officer (AERO).

The administration clarified that such persons need not appear personally before the ERO/AERO for a hearing. In exceptional circumstances, as decided by the ERO/AERO, a hearing may be conducted preferably online through available and convenient communication modes.
