The Agape school, with a firm commitment under its motto ‘Inspiring minds’ to further provide quality education and opportunities to upcoming generations of the district, is slated to be upgraded to a higher secondary school through the Department of School Education, Nagaland and Nagaland Board of School Education.

Agape High School was established in the year 2008 under the administration of P Lipichem Sangtam as the school principal.

The school has been performing well in the HSLC exams conducted by the NBSE, with 100% pass percentage from 2018 to 2020, 96% in 2021 and 100% in 2022.

It will become the second private school under Kiphire district to qualify for the level of higher secondary school after Loyola Higher Secondary School (parochial school).

The school upgradation to higher secondary will usher in new hope for students pursuing higher secondary education in the district.

After passing high school, Kiphire students find enrolment in higher secondary schools to be a challenge as the only two higher secondary schools currently operating in the district have limited available seats.

The upgradation of Agape High School to a higher secondary school is expected to ease the burden of students aspiring for higher studies as well as to reduce the number of students leaving the district for higher studies.

Agape High School is a coeducational institution located in a rural area under Kiphire district. As of now, the school consists of grades A to 10 along with pre-primary section.

The school has proper classroom facilities with staff room for teachers, library and playroom for kindergarten. Teachers’ quarters have also been set up to accommodate teachers coming from outside the district.
