Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on 28 December constituted the Screening Committees for the ensuing Assembly elections 2023 in Meghalaya, Nagaland and Tripura.

The All India Congress Committee, in a press release, issued the names of the screening committee members for the three states.

For Nagaland, the committee will be headed by Mohan Prakash, with Sanjay Dutt and Sankar Malakar as members.

The ex-officio members will be AICC incharge Dr Ajoy Kumar, state Congress chief K Therie, and AICC secretary Ranajit Mukherjee.
