Changsü Yanthan Baptist Church celebrated its 75th year jubilee on 13–15 January in Changsü Yanthan village (New Changsü).

Changsü Yanthan village is in Englan sub division of Wokha district with an estimated population of 1,398 in 2023.

The church jubilee celebrations were held under the theme ‘Let your Light Shine’.

On the second day, the 75th year jubilee monolith was unveiled by Rev Dr Ezamo Murry in the presence of the villagers which was followed by the ceremony of sound trumpet declaring the celebration of the jubilee.

Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton was the special guest on the third day.

In his speech, Patton encouraged the villagers to create peace amongst each other through the jubilee.

On Sunday, the jubilee celebrations came to a conclusion with a candle light ceremony.
