On the occasion of World Cancer Day, Shamator Battalion Assam Rifles (AR) under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North)/HQ 7 Sector AR organised an awareness lecture on cancer and free blood group test at Shamator village, Shamator on 4 February.

The battalion organised the lecture in view of World Cancer Day with an aim to educate the youths about various types of cancer, an update from AR informed.

CMO 14 AR highlighted preventive measures of cancer.
