Konyak Churches organise Clean Election Movement in Mon

Mon: KBBB has appointed sub–committee convener/co-convener and secretary in every constituency to promote the awareness of Clean Election

Clean Election Movement was organized by Konyak Baptist Bumeinok Bangjüm (KBBB), the apex body of the Konyak Baptist Churches at Mission Centre Mon on Thursday under the Banner “Let your Vote define a Better Tomorrow”, a DIPR report stated.

Clean Election Movement Mon convener, Nyamto said that KBBB has appointed sub–committee convener/co-convener and secretary in every constituency to promote the awareness of Clean Election.

At the programme, KBBB executive secretary, Chemyuh read out the guidelines for clean election to the members.

Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS conveyed his gratitude for their efforts and responsibility in carrying out this movement in Mon District.

Verma said that it was not an easy job, but it has to be done for a better future. He encouraged a clean, free, and fair election with a peaceful environment.

Superintendent of Police Mon, T Uniel Kichu, IPS encouraged cooperation with the Police and security personnel to conduct free and fair elections.
