In his address to the people of Yaongyimti Old Village, the candidate said that he intend to proceed in the spirit of the pre-poll alliance. However, the support of the people is the need of the hour as the Chief Minister and the NDPP party has placed immense trust in 24th Angetyongpang Constituency, he said.
“So far we have proceeded with trust and understanding in the last five years and I hope that this understanding will continue”, he added.

Village Council Member (VCM), K. Imlitoshi, while speaking at the event acknowledged the minister’s work in his previous term.
“I thought he would be uncontested given the fact that he had done so many good things. However, that is not the case but that is okay,” he further stated. Although he is confined to Angetyongpang constituency, he is for the whole of Nagas, he added.
