Shamator Battalion of the Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (North) gave away two computer systems to Langnok Students’ Union at Langnok Village in Noklak District on Saturday.

Assam Rifles taking cognisance of the requirement of students of GPS Langnok Village and the student council lacking basic infrastructure, contributed the computer systems for setting up of IT Lab in the village.

The computer systems for the college were distributed by Company Commander  of Langnok, Assam Rifles Post  in the presence of GB of the village.

The AR stated that the provision of computer systems will make a remarkable difference in improving the overall learning experience of the students of GPS Langnok and will help in digitisation of documents for the student council.

The noble gesture by Assam Rifles was deeply appreciated by the students as well as the teachers, it stated .
