At the Common Platform, the candidates will share the stage to tell the people of their visions for the constituency if elected. The programme will take place at Kewhimia Ground, Ziekiezou.

Kohima Village Council had earlier issued guidelines for candidates and voters of 10th Northern Angami – 1 A/C for the conduct of Clean Election during the ensuing general election.

In a circular issued on 6 February, KVC informed that setting up of camps in the constituency is disallowed except in the candidates’ residences. Candidates will not be allowed to distribute money to voters, likewise electorates are prohibited from selling their votes in exchange of money.

The council further stated its stern directive against practices such as proxy voting, booth capturing, intoxication and selling of liquor and use of force and intimidation that would disrupt the voting process.
