B.L. Verma, Minister of State, Ministry Development of North Eastern Region (MDoNER) & Cooperation virtually inaugurated the newly constructed building of Government Higher Secondary School Tizit, Mon from NIC Conference Hall, Mon on Saturday.
The project was funded by the Northeastern Council, MDoNER.

While dedicating the building to GHSS, Tizit, Verma wished that the building will be instrumental in educational development of the Tizit Sub-division. He also informed that Tizit has been selected as a backward block and all necessary efforts are being taken to ensure the inclusive and participatory development.
Also in his speech, the MoS also informed the participants about the vision and mission of the Ministry of DoNER, and special focus of the Government of India on North-eastern region.
The inaugural monolith of GHSS Tizit Building too was unveiled by B.L. Verma.
The virtual inauguration programme was joined by K. Konngam, Advisor Treasuries & Accounts, Art & Culture, Govt. of Nagaland, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Mon, Anuradha S. Chagti, Joint Secretary, N. Simte, Under Secretary, DoNER, Sekhar Dey, APS and Alok Rai, personal assistant to Union minister, the President, Konyak Union, Konyak Nyupuh Sheko Khong and Konyak Students Union.
