A thanksgiving programme was organised for Member of Nagaland Legislative Assembly Y. M. Humtsoe from 38 Wokha Assembly Constituency at the Village Ground on Saturday.
The retired bureaucrat, in his speech, said that he had lived sixty years for himself and vowed to now live for the public. He said that a politician should focus on all round development but especially focus more on development of roads, stable electricity supply, water supply, health care, education and also uplift the people economically.
The MLA thanked his supporters for the immense love and support showered on him. He also thanked God for the dual blessing to Wokha Village by blessing both MLA and Advisor to CM from Wokha Village.

Advisor to Chief Minister Dr. Chumben Murry, speaking at the programme thanked CM Neiphiu Rio for appointing him as his advisor. He also urged the people to work upon cleanliness and to remember the Naga political issue in their prayers.
Lotha Hoho president E.R. Mhondamo Ovung urged the Lothas not to focus on individual gains but work for the community as a whole.
