Alumni Meet of Sazolie College of Teachers Education (SCTE) on 20 May 2023

The Alumni Meet of Sazolie College of Teachers Education (SCTE) was held on Saturday at the college Auditorium at Phezhu, Jotsoma on Saturday.

A press release issued by the association informed that Dr. Gomesh Moasahary, Principal in his address elucidated that the alumni have a big role to play in the society and in the institutions while adding that the alumni of the college are contributing to the development of the society.

He reminded the members that success is not final, and failure is not fatal but it is the courage to continue on what is to come.

President of SCTE Alumni Association, Kikruneinuo Liezietsu, delivered a welcome address and said that the alumni meet is a platform for the Alumni members to reunite.

She maintained that the members are carrying out their profession of teaching with passion and she further challenged the members and students to serve with dedication in building and grooming a just a future.

Liezietsu also called for efforts among the members to recommit themselves to serve humanity with sincerity, dedication, integrity and passion.

A short speech was also delivered by Kabi John, Assistant Professor, SCTE.

During the programme, Student of the Year Award were presented to Menguü Sekhose (2017-2019), Thrilichem Sangtam (2018-2020), Grace Thyu (2019-2021) and Rovileno Nakhro (2020-2022). While a speech on behalf of the awardees was delivered by Rovileno Nakhro.

Special songs were presented by Toshinaro Imchen; 2nd Semester Students, special appearance was made by the batch of 2021-23.

The programme was also chaired by Atuonuo Kezieo, invocation was said by Nzan Kikon, Chaplain and benediction was said by Lemmila Khamrang, Assistant Professor.

A new team of SCTE Alumni Associate was elected which will be led by Wapangtoshi as president, Menguü Yepthomi as Vice-president, Atunuo Kezieo as General Secretary, Keneikienuo as Assistant General and Naro as Treasurer along with seven others.
