On the recommendation of the Search cum Selection Committee, Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) Society, the Governor of Nagaland in the interest of public service is pleased to appoint Dr Soumya Chakraborty as Director cum Dean of Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (NIMSR) Kohima with immediate effect.

The appointment shall be on a contract basis with monthly remuneration as per the 7th CPC pay matrix level-14 (Rs 1,44,200-2,18,200) per month with applicable allowances etc and the term of appointment shall be governed as indicated in the Advertisement Notice dt. 10 May 2022.

The Terms of Reference for Director cum Dean of Nagaland Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kohima shall be as per the Bye-Laws of the Society or as may be prescribed by the Government from time to time.

This issues with the approval of the Cabinet vide letter No: CAB-2/2013, dated, Kohima the 21 April 2022.
