The Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA) Kohima District Unit has refuted and condemned the dissemination of baseless allegations against a revered Head Teacher from a government school in Kohima District. The association is committed to safeguarding the rights and welfare of all government primary teachers in Nagaland and aims to set the record straight on the recent viral news report.’

As per the official statement issued by the ANGPTA Kohima District Unit, the accused Head Teacher is a bona fide member of the association and is currently dedicatedly engaged in preparing the Primary Teachers Seniority List at the Directorate of School Education, Kohima. This crucial assignment was duly entrusted to the teacher by the then Principal Director through Office Order No. ED/EST-1/MISC/2019-20, dated 25/10/21.
