Tuensang, July 25, 2023: Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, organized a comprehensive training for the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of Tuensang District. The training focused on the special Summary Revision of the Photo Electoral Roll, with the qualifying date set as 01/01/2024, along with hands-on training for using the BLO App. The event took place at the CKS Conference Hall in Tuensang, DIPR informed.

In her introductory note, Lithrongla highlighted the significance of rationalizing polling stations, eliminating proxy voters, and enrolling new voters in accordance with the qualifying date of 01/01/2024. AEO Tuensang, Nilo Katiry, conducted an informative PowerPoint presentation on the Special Summary Revision and the proposal for new Polling Stations, as well as demonstrated the functionalities of the BLO App to enhance the efficiency of the electoral roll revision process.
