In view of the 3rd chief secretaries’ proposed meeting in October/November 2023, focusing on “Promoting Ease of Living through Good Governance and the use of Technology,” a one-day program on the sub-theme “Ease of Schooling” was conducted on 31st July 2023 at EBRC Training Hall in Tseminyu.
Kemciyile, SDO (Civil) Tseminyu, delivered the keynote address during the inaugural program. He emphasized that the orientation on “Ease of Schooling” aimed to gather inputs and suggestions from block-level officers, school heads, parents-teachers associations, and related departments to create a comprehensive “Feedback/Concept Note.” The objective was to improve the learning environment by providing students with the necessary resources and support system, ensuring a safe, inclusive, and welcoming atmosphere for all.
The program was chaired by Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO, and the welcome address was given by Chubamenla Tep SDEO/DEO Tseminyu. The event saw the participation of 35 attendees, including various stakeholders from the education sector.
During the business session, Chegeseng Kath AHM/JEO Tseminyu moderated discussions on several critical aspects of schooling, including ease of obtaining mark sheets, transfer, and migration certificates. The session also covered topics such as Aadhar registration of students, ensuring quality infrastructure in schools, effective delivery of schemes and services, enhancing learning outcomes, sharing good practices among schools, and addressing existing challenges.

The “Ease of Schooling” program provided an opportunity for constructive dialogues and collaboration among education stakeholders to enhance the schooling experience for students in Tseminyu. The insights and suggestions gathered during the session will contribute to creating a supportive and nurturing learning environment that fosters academic growth and overall development.
