A two-day Mega Car Loan Mela was organised by the State Bank of India (SBI) Regional Business Office, Mokokchung at Public Local Ground Wokha Town on 20th and 21st September 2023,

According to DPRO& I/A Wokha, the Car Loan Mela attracted around eight of the top automobile companies in India who exhibited their products at the founds. The companies also offered 100% road finance on select models.

Regional Manager, SBI, RBO, Mokokchung, Lokho Peter, while addressing the gathering at the launching program said that the public/customers from other parts of the districts in the state were finding it inconvenient to travel to cities like Kohima and Dimapur, which is time   and financial consuming and therefore to facilitate the customers, SBI has initiated the Car Loan Mela at their doorsteps for the public to avail the opportunity.

Field Officer, SBI, Wokha Kekhrie Chase, highlighting the features of the Car Loans, said the targeted groups for the Mela were government employees, entrepreneurs and farmers.
