Viswemi Football Club today lost to Red Scars Football Club at the ongoing 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy.
Sentilong (66) of Red Scars FC scored the first goal in the 17th minute while Yhunshalo Kemp(9) doubled the score for Red Scars FC in the 65 minute.
The Man of the Match was awarded to Horlan (16) of Red Scars FC where the award was handed over by Metebo-o Sote, Secy Games and Sport ASU and Secretary Organizing Committee of the 23rd NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy.
The quarterfinals will begin from October 5.
Under the theme ‘Goal for Peace’, the NSF Martyr’s Memorial Trophy is held every year in honor of Late Vikhozo Yhoshü and Late Kekuojalie Sachü who were killed during an indiscriminate firing by the Police during a peaceful protest on March 20, 1986.
