The inaugural Tokhu Emong 1st Women’s Football and Volleyball Tournament commenced with enthusiasm at the Public Ground in Bhandari on October 17, informed a DIPR report. The sporting event was organized by Eleo Hoho Bhandari Town.
The program was graced by the presence of Achumlo Mozhui, Women Associate Pastor from Bhandari Town Baptist Church who shared words of wisdom and motivation with the participants. Mozhui emphasized on the importance of discipline, not only on the sports field during the tournament but also in their everyday lives. She encouraged the players to give their best effort and continue to work hard on their skills and talents, as it is a path to realizing their dreams in life.

The program was chaired by Mhonyani Mozhui, the President of Eleo Hoho Bhandari. Under his guidance, the event kicked off with a sense of unity and enthusiasm.
A total of nine football teams and nine volleyball teams are participating in this tournament. According to the DIPR, the event promises to be an exciting showcase of sportsmanship and talent among the women of Bhandari and the surrounding areas.
