In view of the Bye Election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly 43 (ST) Tapi AC, Deputy Commissioner and DEO Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS has informed all the concern that the Election Commissioner of India (ECI) has deployed Election Observers in various role in respect of Mon District. Their appointments have been made with the aim to ensure the conduct of scheduled Bye-Elections in a free, fair and peaceful manner, Mon DC and DEO stated.
The details of the Election Observers are:

- Expenditure Observer, Ashutosh Yadav, IRAS, Contact No. 6009399434 (Walo Guest House)
- Police Observer, K. Parashurama, IPS, Contact No. 6009395303 (BRO Guest House)
It was also informed that the Election Observers arrived in Mon on 19th October 2023, and are presently stationed at the respective locations specified beside their names.
Therefore, any individual seeking to report any election-related violations, lodge complaints or any other election related inquiries may do so during 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM or they may establish contact with them using the provided contact numbers.
