Moanungsang MSC, last year’s Runners-up, secured a spot in the MDFA Trophy 2023 final after defeating Super Seniors FC in the First Semi Final match played today at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex.

The first half between Moanungsang MSC and Super Seniors FC ended without any goals being scored. However, in the 65th minute, Rongsenchiba (J/No.19) of Moanungsang MSC broke the deadlock, scoring the first goal and giving hope to his team. This goal awakened the Super Seniors team, but in the 88th minute, Molutsupong (J/No. 09) of Moanungsang MSC sealed the victory with the second goal, resulting in a 2-0 scoreline.

Tomorrow, the Second Semi-Final match of MDFA Trophy 2023 will be played at 1:00 PM between the defending Champion, Telongjem FC, and KSR Team. Imlichila, OC, Women Police Station, Mokokchung will serve as the match patron.
