The Liangmai Football Club, Peren and Western Sumi Sports Association, Nuiland knocked out Head hunters FC, Jakhama and Viswemi FC, Kohima on the second day of Late Capt N Kenguruse, MVC Memorial Football Tournament.

Organised by the Assam Rifles in collaboration with the Nagaland Football Association, the 7th Edition of Late Capt N Kenguruse, Mahavir Chakra, Memorial Football Tournament is currently underway at the Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima, Nagaland.

“In a nail biting competition, Liagmei FC defeated the once strong looking Head hunters FC by 2-1. In the evening match the Nuiland team, making an epic comeback during the stoppage time makes its way to the next round of competition thereby showing Viswemi FC the exit route by defeating them by 4-3,” informed a press release by the HQ IGAR (N).
