The fifth edition of the Stag Global “Throttle Thrust V” concluded on 4th November 2023, after commencing on 3rd November. The event was organized by Spearhead Motorsport Initiative in memory of the esteemed Late. Imtimayang Jamir.
The event saw 32 participants hailing from Dimapur, Kohima, Wokha, and Mokokchung districts. The prize distribution was held at Ungma Tourist Centre in Mokokchung, with C. Manpon Konyak, MLA of the Government of Nagaland, as the special invitee.
Stage I started with the super-sprint and hill climb format on November 3, while Stage II took place on November 4.

Tomito V Shohe received the Best Timer Award for both Stage I (Day 1) and Stage II (Day 2) with times of 00:05:12.36 and 00:04:52.55, respectively.
The title sponsor for the Spearhead Motorsports event is Stag Global, and the Platinum sponsor is Nagaland Mineral and Mines, while the trophies were sponsored by Wangshikokla, the wife of Late. Imtimayang Jamir, who was one of the co-founders of Spearhead Motorsport.

C. Manpon Konyak, MLA, in his speech, congratulated Spearhead Motorsport for successfully organising the thrilling event and stated that such an inspiring event has been successful due to the blessings of God. He emphasized the importance of realizing that God has been guiding all the participants throughout the event.
He further mentioned that success and failures can be challenging at times, but he expressed that success should never be considered greater than failure. He viewed failure as a champion because it represents an epitome of success.
Konyak acknowledged the responsibilities and initiatives of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, who is a dedicated supporter of motor sports and various other activities. He recognized the positive impact of sports and development activities in promoting peace and harmony within society. He encouraged everyone to strive for prosperity within the state.
Addressing the community and sports enthusiasts, the MLA encouraged the people of Mokokchung to set an example for the rest of the Nagas by working diligently to uphold the dignity of their ancestors. He also urged them to support and guide the younger generation to participate in national and international events.
A tribute to Late Imtimayang Jamir was presented during the event while B. Lima Longkumer, Convenor, Throttle Thrust V, Spearhead Motorsport delivered the vote of thanks.
