The office of the United Sangtam Students’ Conference (USSC) today issued a notification concerning the poor attendance of various government employees under Kiphire district. The notification states that “most of the government office HODs and employees were not in their respective posting places” which causes a lot of inconveniences to the general public.

The USSC has directed all government employees “to be in their respective places of posting” and serve the citizens of Kiphire district “with immediate effect”. The organisation has also further appealed to all the government offices to “provide an employee list and maintain an attendance register for all the employees including HODs.”

The USSC ends the notification by stating: “In the event of failing to adhere to this directive the conference would initiate its course of action as per the government rule under “No work, no pay”.
