The Department of Transport has hiked the fare rates and hiring charges of Nagaland State Transport (NST) bus. The department has said that revision is due to the increase in the prices of High Speed Diesel (HSD) and all other commodities.

Long distance hiring charge beyond 40 Km radius @ fare rate as per the Category above.

Further, the Department has informed that the local hiring charges within 40 Km radius of the Stations/Sub-Stations will be as follows:

(a) Rs 6,000 for up to 12 hours

(b) Rs 5000 for beyond 12 hours (only up to 24 hrs)
