God in the beat: WMC Season 2 concludes

The Witness Music Conference (WMC) season 2 which started off at Agri-Expo, Chümoukedima Village on January 13 concluded on January 15.

The event was received with an overwhelming response from over a thousands spectators from across the state and beyond the border.

The three days event inculcated the word of God from Brother Hyeok Park, from Seoul, South Korea. The third day of event also witnessed a remarkable show from the five finalists of the Gospel Solo competition under WMC Season 2. The judges for the Gospel solo competition were artist and song-writer from Nagaland Tali Angh and Ruth Sasü, former member of popular band DC (Divine Connection).

The winner of the Gospel solo competition WMC2 were:

Winner- Benjongsola Jamir,

1st Runners up- Wikedon Zeliang,

2nd Runners up- Gloria.

Speaking to Nagaland Tribune, Tethso RJT, the founder and Director of WMC expressed joy and vision to encourage the young people to be singing and living for God. “The little seed that WMC is bringing in to the beautiful land Nagaland will someday bear fruit tomorrow, with the investment of time and resources in Young Naga people from WMC core team members, supporters and intellectuals, will never go in vain,” said the Director.

The event concluded with the successful support of many God loving citizens from across Pan – Naga community, with media partner HornbillTv, Praise and worship partner Limitless Generation from Dimapur, LJ Photography, Kohdi Jings and Bryan as Videographers.

A short history of how WMC came to live was shared by Tsosing Rudy, and a vote of thanks delivered by Vilila S Thonger.
