The 4th Phase District Level Social Audit Public Hearing under MGNREGA for the FY 2023-24 was convened at DPDB Conference Hall, Kohima on Friday. This was informed in a press release issued by Project Officer cum PO (MGNREGA) DRDA, Kohima, Kevilhoubeiü, DIPR said.

The release stated that the Gram Panchayat/villages were Zhadima, Nachama, Tsiesema Bawe, Chiechama and Dihoma under R. D Block Chiephobozou and New Tesophenyu, Nsunyu, Sishunu, Tsongsa and K. Station under R.D Block Chunlikha.

PD/DPC (MGNREGA), Pfukrulhou Koza chaired the program while State Resource Person, Social Audit Unit Nagaland, Vepo Keyho highlighted on MGNREGA programme and the importance of Social Audit.

Assistant Audit Officer, Taorem Arun Singh was the Independent Observer from the Office of the Accountant General and EAC Botsa, Dr. Riku Khutso represented the District Administration as the Independent Observer.

The program concluded with reading out village wise Gram Sabha resolution and vote of thanks by the chairperson.
