The Longleng District Planning & Development Board meeting for the month of January was held under the chairmanship of DC & Vice Chairman DPDB, Dharam Raj, IAS at DPDB hall Longleng on January 23.

During the meeting, the Deputy Commissioner requested all heads of offices to submit agenda through the District Planning & Development Board, informed the DIPR. The house discussed and deliberated for the upcoming Republic Day celebration and the DC reminded the officers to carry out the respective assigned works as per work distribution and coordinate for the successful Republic Day celebration in the District.

The house also discussed about the shortage of JCOs and training for the newly recruited personals of VGs in the District. The Department of Village Guard (VG) highlighted their activities through a PowerPoint presentation. The Department of Forest was entrusted to present their departmental activities in the next meeting.
