Tening Students’ Union Nagaland celebrates Golden Jubilee

The Tening Students’ Union Nagaland celebrated its Golden Jubilee (1974-2024) under the theme “Growing Together”, from January 29 -30, informed the DIPR.

Rev. Ramriwang, the first President of the Tening Students’ Union Nagaland graced the event as the special guest, while WR Joshuah, Commandant, 78 Bn. CRPF, Kohima was the inaugural guest and Jacob Zeliang, BDO was the valedictory guest.

Speaking at the event, Rev. Ramriwang encouraged the upcoming students to be united and to build a strong community. Asserting that hard work and dedication will always pay off, he encouraged the students to live with dignity and to continue the culture of respecting elders. He also encouraged the students to be involved in community service.

The Jubilee was attended by Tening students from Dimapur, Peren and Jalukie, neighbouring village students unions and well-wishers.

The event featured cultural extravaganza and talent display from the union members.
