The installation and felicitation of 28 Koridang AC NDPP office bearers took place today at the Treasurer’s residence in Mokokchung’s Yimyu ward. Chief host for the programme was, Imkong L. Imchen, MLA.

During the programme, administration of oath for the newly elected members was carried out by Tali Pongen, President Agri and Allied Organization. 35 new members were elected and inducted as office bearers, with Imtinungsang Imchen serving as President, Waisangba serving as working President and 17 Vice Presidents namely, Yangermeren, Yimjongwati, Imsumeren, Kikatemba, Meyatoshi, Talichiba, Sungjemliba, Tekayanger, Bendangwati, Sangtemtsulak, Talisashi, Imnameren,. Pangerniken LCR, Impokchiba, Longrikaba Imchen, Temsumongba and Imnuksungba.
For the post of General Secretary, Dr. Rongsen was inducted. Whereas, 14 Secretaries were elected namely, Renemsanba, Bendangsashi, K. Lanu Imchen, Temsuyanger, Imlimeren, Yangermongba, Longrichang, Ngangshikaba, Taliwati, Talisunep, Pusunungsang, Panjungtemsu, Tongpangmeren and Aowati. For the post of Treasurer, Pangertoshi was inducted.
Hoisting of party flag was done by the President, NDPP Mokokchung Region. Welcome address was delivered by Bendang Walling, President Youth Org., NDPP Mokokchung Region. Dedicatory prayer by Yimyu Baptist Church followed by words of gratitude by Temjenyanger, outgoing President. Vote of thanks was delivered by Arenla Pongen, President Women Org., NDPP Mokokchung Region followed by Mass prayer.
