Vilasier Khate lifted the Men’s Singles trophy at the 34th Nagaland Lawn Tennis Championship in Kohima on Saturday. Vilasier beat his double’s partner Thejasier Khate in the final match played at the Indira Gandhi Indoor Tennis Stadium, DIPR informed.

The tournament was organized by the Nagaland Lawn Tennis Association (NLTA) and hosted by Kohima District Tennis Association.

Vilasier and Thejasier won the Men’s Doubles trophy after they defeated Zhaputso Khate and Kepevilie Khate.

In the Veterans category (above 40) Doubles, Seyiekhriezo Sekhose and Kikrusetuo Sekhose lift the cup while Alpha Khamo and Teisozhavi Theünuo were Runners up.

Menuolhoulie Suokhrie handed over the Prizes to the winners during the concluding ceremony.

The 34th Nagaland Lawn Tennis Championship, which commenced on 7th February culminated on Saturday.
