Imkong L. Imchen conducts district tour in Longleng

Imkong L. Imchen, Advisor for IPR, Soil & Water Conservation, who is also the BJP Legislator In-charge of Longleng District, conducted his first District Tour at Longleng Town on February 10.

Addressing the meeting with the District officials, Tamlu and Longleng Mandal Presidents and Office Bearers and senior party leaders, he expounded on the flagship programs and welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi which has immensely benefited crores of Indian citizens. He also encouraged the party Karyakartas to stay commited and work hard for the positive growth of the party in Longleng District, stating further that the party would work sincerely to make Longleng a model District for BJP. Listening to the grievances and concerns shared by B Azhoy Phom, District President , Imkong stated that he would definitely take up the matter with the State President Benjamin Yepthomi and the Deputy Chief Minister and BLP Leader Y Patton upon his return from the tour, informed a press release.

State Spokesperson and Co. Incharge of Longleng District Kakuto Chishi emphasized on the importance of social media and mass media and enlightened the party Karyakartas on the various doorstep schemes provided by BJP Government. He also urged upon both the District and the 2 Mandals to stay updated with the trending news.

The meeting was also addressed by I.Pushi Phom, District Executive member, while State Secretary Aliba Sangtam (District I/c) spoke on the Organisational Structures and functions of the Bharatiya Janata Party during the interactive session with the party Karyakartas.

Eerlier, the meeting was chaired by Bushing Phom, District Gen. Secretary, welcome address was delivered by District President B. Azhoy Phom, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Meilu Phom, Chief Advisor of Longleng District BJP and Benediction was pronounced by Chomben Phom, Treasurer of Norman Bhavan, BJP India( Longleng ).
