The Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024 which begins today will observe its inaugural function this evening at 7:00 PM at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Chümoukedima District. The Special Guest for the inaugural will be Neiphiu Rio, Chief Minister, Government of Nagaland while the Honoured Guests are Kalyan Chaubey, President, All India Football Federation & Vice President, Indian Olympic Association and Girish Shenoy, Head of Sales, United Breweries.

Meanwhile, the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA) welcomed International Coaches Deepak Dhillon and Om Prakash. “Exciting times ahead as they join us for talent spotting at the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024 and to enhance the performance of our athletes for the North East Olympics,” informed a press release issued by the NOA.  The NOA also welcomed Sokun Singh, Vice President of the Taekwondo Federation of India, to Dimapur. “Nagaland Olympic Association extends a warm welcome as he officiates at the Nagaland Olympic & Paralympic Games 2024,” stated the NOA.
