Despite the ongoing indefinite stir led by Civil Society Organisations in Wokha, the 2024 High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) examinations have commenced smoothly as per schedule for students across the district, informed the DIPR.

N. Renjano Kithan, Senior Sub-divisional Education Officer (SDEO) of Wokha, reported that 435 students are appearing for the HSSLC Examination at the Wokha center, while 734 students are sitting for the HSLC exams. Additionally, 199 students are taking their exams at the Bhandari center.
