The DC & DEO Kohima has notified that in connection with the ensuing General Election to the 18th Lok Sabha, 2024, a District Level Standing Committee (DLSC) for Model Code of Conduct is constituted with the following as members:- DC & DEO Kohima as Convener and Superintendent of Police, Kohima; EAC (Estt.) & Nodal Officer (MCC); All AROs Kohima district; Administrator KMC; EEM Nodal Officer; President & General Secretary of BJP/DCC/ NPP/NDPP/ NPF; President, Angami Public Organization; President, Angami Miapfu Mechu Krotho (AMK); President, Angami Youth Organisation and Assistant Election Officer as members of the committee.

According to DIPR, the Committee shall meet from time to time, as and when required to discuss issues relating to free, fair and peaceful conduct of the 18th Lok Sabha election 2024. The Committee shall ensure that Model Code of Conduct is strictly adhere by all political parties, contesting candidates, government departments and general public from the day the Commission announces the election till the election process ends.
