Dr. Kekhrie Yhome, Advisor, School Education and SCERT today issued a circular expressing sincere apology for his statement.
“I am pained to learn that my statements of 6th and 16th February, 2024 have deeply hurt the sentiments of our communities, namely Ao and Sumi tribes. I also understand that the public perceptions of my statements have created confusion,” stated Yhome.

In this regard, the Advisor mentioned that he had no intention to deprive any deserving aspirant.
“I express my sincere apology if my aforementioned speech and statement has hurt anyone. I earnestly appeal for goodwill and understanding,” urged the Advisor.
