As part of SVEEP (Systematic Voter’s Education and Electoral Participation) activities under Wokha district, and in view of the forthcoming General Election to Lok Sabha 2024, an essay and slogan writing competition was held at Libemo Memorial School, Wokha on April 5, informed DIPR.
The competition was held in two categories, High School level and Higher Secondary School level with the participation of around 35 students in the essay and slogan writing competition.
SDO ©, and Nodal Officer (SVEEP) Wokha, Nuhuta Tunyi, addressing the student’s said, SVEEP activities are conducted to educate and spread voters awareness and promote voters literacy.

SVEEP is also a multi- intervention programme which aims to reach out to the people through different modes and media to educate citizens, electors and voters about the electoral process in order to increase their level of awareness and promote their informed participation during election.
He also informed that such kind of activities involving all the schools within Wokha town will be conducted shortly. He also thanked all the student’s for actively participating during such events.
